Available Scholarship Opportunities

Each scholarship fund has specific eligibility criteria which are determined by donors when the scholarship is created. Examples of eligibility criteria include: community of residence, school attended, grade point average, future plans, or financial need. In addition, the Community Foundation Alliance and our Community Foundation affiliates are the local administrators of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program.

How To Apply

The scholarship application is simple to manage through our online application system. Review our How to Apply information for Community Scholarships (CS) and the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship (LECS) before getting started. Manage Your Account

Use the >STUDENT LOGIN button in the top menu to return to your user account. You will manage your account to:

✔ Start your application to apply for available scholarships

✔ Return to complete and submit your application

✔ Complete the College Selection Form if chosen as a recipient

✔ Complete Scholarship Renewal forms

Scholarship Renewals

Recipients of the following Daviess County Community Scholarship may apply for renewal of the scholarship award. Please be aware that your failure to submit the renewal form by the specified date will result in your ineligibility to be considered for this year’s and future scholarship renewal awards. Renewal applications will be assigned to renewal candidates in their online student account.

John R. Chapman Scholarship

Renewable scholarship established by the John R. Chapman Trust Fund to provide a renewable scholarship to graduating seniors of Washington Community or North Daviess high schools.

Open to new applicants only

Renewal Details
Renewable for consecutive sophomore, junior, and senior years provided recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale). A new recipient for the award will be identified once every four years. In the event the recipient does not apply for renewal, the scholarship will be open to new applicants the following year.
